Haley Cass is done it again, In the Long Run was a wholly enjoyable reading experience. While the beginning deferred from the build up of Those Who Wait and When You Least Expect it things settled in nicely after. If you enjoyed the other entries in the Haley Cass literary universe, you'll enjoy this one too.
It was an interesting read to see the experience of someone doing a Iron Man for the first time having said that there were a lot of minutia level details that seem to pad the book. Overall, it was an enjoyable read.
It's warm, touching, thoughtful, smart, witty, and beautifully written. It gave me all the feels as did Those Who Wait; I love the little nods throughout the previous books and underscoring that it all exists within the Haley Cass literary universe.
Did this as an audiobook. It was a fascinating experience telling the history up to now and how that history has been deduced and changed to our present understanding.
