Loved half the characters and hated the other half. Didn't like the first half of the book, but liked the second. I guess that makes this a very real book. 2.5. There are no heros, which is refreshing. Gotta admit that Kiki and Carlene are a beautiful pairing.
Ein einfach verständliches und interessantes Buch das sehr schön über die Bedürfnisse von Jagdhunden, sowie deren Ursprung aufklärt. Es wird anschaulich beschrieben wie man mit überwiegend positiven und bedürfnisorientierten Methoden das Jagdverhalten des Hundes in die gewünschten Bahnen lenken kann, auch wenn keine Jagd erwünscht ist. Empfehlenswert für jeden, der einen jagdlich ambitionierten Hund Zuhause hat. Balu scheinen die Änderungen die wir im Training eingeführt haben sehr zu gefallen - mir auch.
Perfect for those who, like me, enjoy stories that children would enjoy too. This book is a wonderful escape, whilst still somehow realistic and regardless of what is claimed in the foreword, has lots of depth and commentary. Unlike anything else I have read before. Loved it.
Agreed with the recommendation in ‘novel cure'. A beautiful solace for everyone who feels abandoned or alone sometimes.
4.5 did not like it in the beginning. I thought the protagonist was going to be one of those “not like other girls” characters. Until I found out she was SO unlike other girls...
My favorite book. Absolutely love it. The story makes you feel cozy while still being complex and almost even scary at times, the writing is beautiful and whimsical and the characters are adorable. A happyplace of a book. Please read it.
