I seriously did not enjoy this book... It was soo boring that I finished this book for the sole reason of finishing it.
God I hated this book. Though the message given was good and inspiring the writing style made me hate it.
It was so so BORING!
Those letters in the book, I skipped most of them as they were so much predictable.
I also hated the fact that she made the protagonist's husband gay! Which was kind of shocking.
“DO NOT READ THIS BOOK”
Sorry this story doesn't deserve any rating.
I request anyone who is thinking of reading this book to not waste their time on this hopeless story.
To say why I hate this book:
* There was no connection between the story and the title.
* The story was so bad that it gets boring from the first page itself.
* The author praises his story himself so much that it gets irritating you.
* Writing style is “WORST”. I mean it's so bad that I'm not able to get a word to describe it.
#THIS BOOK IS NOT ANYONE'S TYPE#
“Don't Trust Ben” for all the readers who pick this book just remember this even if Christine says otherwise..
I was scared while Christine was reading climax in the journal.
This book was so so good but very difficult. It took me so many days to finish this books it was that tough!
The Epilogue deserves the four stars man..
The story completely was not that mind blowing. It was an average 3 star with the same dramas between the characters. Finishing this book gave an overwhelming feeling though. Loved the characters of Julian Blackthorn and of course Emma Carstairs. I literally was crying only at the mention of the characters from TID. Clay and Jace were as sappy as always.
To be honest it was a wonderful story but the writing made the book less enjoyable.
Even with such a poor writing the book was gripping because of the story.
The war scene could've been more glorious.
Nevertheless it is one of the books to read from an Indian author.....
4.5 Stars
What a great start to the series! I'm really excited to dive into the next books. The characters are captivating, and the setting is rich, it's definitely got me hooked on Brandon Sanderson's work. The writing style is both simple and beautiful, making it accessible for beginners while still being engaging for seasoned readers.
I'm totally mind blown! I still don't know what just happened! I couldn't put this book down. It was very very thrilling! I just want more now!!!
3.5 stars
A good plot kept me on the edge the whole time but some details were unnecessary and annoying at times. The protagonist was really annoying but it's a plot driven book with no character which was likable.

Roshani Chokshi's The Last Tale of the Flower Bride is a gothic fantasy with dark romance. The story follows an unnamed man “the Bridegroom” and his wife, Indigo, as they return to her childhood home, the House of Dreams. Their marriage is threatened when the husband starts to uncover Indigo's secrets.
The book has its lush, fairy tale-inspired writing and its vivid depiction of toxic friendship. However, the beautifully written language often overshadows the plot, slowing the pace and making it difficult to engage fully with the story. While the atmospheric setting and intriguing premise initially captivate, they lack follow-through, with the House of Dreams serving more as a backdrop than an active element.

“Final Gambit” was a delightful surprise! I went in with moderate expectations, but this book exceeded them. The puzzles were intriguing, and the ending was satisfying - not mind-blowing, but still fun!
As Xander would say, “The game is afoot!” And oh, was it ever! I loved the banter and wit, especially between Xander and Avery. Their dynamic was finally back on track!
Avery, the queen of self-obsession, still had her moments, but this time around, it didn't feel forced. She actually grew on me (a bit): “I'm not a hero, I'm just a girl who's trying to survive.” Same, Avery, same.
The Hawthorne brothers stole the show, as per usual. Jameson, Xander, and Grayson brought the charm and wit. Xander's sass and vulnerability made my heart skip a beat: “I'm not a hero, Avery. I'm just a guy who's trying to survive.
All in all, a solid 3.5 stars! Better than the second book, and a fun conclusion to the series. Not perfect, but a great way to wrap up the story.
“Sometimes the only way to win is to change the game.” Well played, Jennifer Lynn Barnes, well played.

It's slow paced gets better very late in the story, the characters are not really developed well, the magic system feels very confused at the beginning but the plot is really good if you keep going. I took my time to read this one and I'm glad I completed it. Already starting the second one...
This was very gripping but the problem of this book was it was very predictable...as always it's always the husband. The side plot of the story was more interesting than the main plot but on the whole I could not put this down.
After the disappointing second book this was good. The way Pip's character changed halfway through the book was little shocking but overall it was a good read.
