Hit and miss, some stories were interesting, others I found a bit boring. I definitely prefer a book with an overarching storyline, something this was missing almost entirely.

A fun but generally predictable book, loved the world and themes it explored.

A brilliant continuation of the Mistborn story, loved the new setting and love Wax, Wayne and Marasi, excited to start Shadows of Self :)

Probably the fastest I've ever read a book, loved every single page, filled with so much story, action, emotion and twists, cannot wait to start book number two!

Trying to write a review for this after just finishing it is impossible, as I have no words to describe how powerfully perfect this book was. I am happy and sad, but mostly just filled with a feeling of luck to be alive at a time when I could read this story. I loved every page, thank you for writing this Brandon.
