Had to force myself past 50%.
A dull repeat of the first book for me! Shame as I was excited for it but there really was nothing new in it. Same story and if anything it just felt a bit like Klune took what people liked from the first and went ham on it and not in a good way. Felt forced and I ended up skim reading chunks of repetitive / dull writing.
60% through and cannot believe how people aren't raving about this. It's realistic creepy horror that leaves you thinking what in the fuck did I just read? While grinning all the while.
Unless the last 40% takes a nose dive...
I really enjoyed this - Its super chewable.
Its a pretty different writing style to standard books I guess which felt like a nice change. It's okay to wonder wtf you've just read if it kept you engaged the whole time.
