“Destruction is tragic and piteous and beautiful. The dream of destroying, building anew, perfecting. Perhaps even, once one has destroyed, the day of perfecting may never come, but in the passion of love I must destroy. I must start a revolution.”
that amazing use of language. beautiful. sad. perfect. also reminded me of The Dark Man by Yesenin
it has changed me. please don't let your kids read this kind of stuff during puberty. they won't be kids anymore; they are going to be either stoic or insane.
A good book always makes you feel a lack of control, I really like to scream into my pillow out of helplessness and inability to influence the plot. Some people even write fanfics because of this. I prefer to let glass run in my veins until the end.
