4.5/5 docked a little because I really hate when the main character's bff (or in this case sister) hides things for the majority of the story. However!!! This was very cute and I did actually tear up a little at the end and I did resonate with Nora's big sister/mom vibes. And the banter!!! Idk that anyone does it better than Emily Henry.
It's giving horny teenager. I'm assuming it's why this series falls in the smut category and it's just not what I was expecting/wanted given the rest of the series is not like this.
Also someone said in their review that the characters completely change in the last 3 books and I couldn't agree more. I feel like they've become more insufferable and conceited and annoying and it seems like the author just got lazy halfway through.
I'm just annoyed because the series has potential and should've just ended way earlier!!!!
3.5. A fast read for sure but the entire premise was honestly a bit predictable and most of the twists I had figured out early on.
Better than the second but not entirely happy with the choices made by the main characters
Tbh I had to get through the first 3rd of the book to actually start enjoying it. If you let go of how unrealistic some of the scenarios are then it's a lovely read
Holyyyyy shit I couldn't put this down. I will say due to the structure of the book I had a guess of who did it early on but I didn't actually guess how until 75% of the way in. There were some aspects of the plot I didn't think were necessary and just cluttered the story but overall very well executed and definitely recommend.
Rated up to a 4! I'm glad I went into this completely blind, otherwise I think there are parts during which I would've gotten bored with allll the science speak. Also, I am extremely, extremely unsatisfied with the ending and therefore cannot rate it higher.
Okay good news is that although I thought I predicted everything a quarter of the way in, I didn't. Bad news is I actually hated the twist and I thought it cheapened the whole thing because it was too easy.
3.5/5 it was cute enough and a fast read but after 75% of the way I just didn't really care anymore and
No I literally loved this. So much of this resonated so strongly and my unrealistic expectations for a husband have just become more unrealistic
Omg I'm finally done this book was so LONG. I feel like honestly Ruhn & Lidia's storyline should've just been its own book because it felt rushed and unnatural and I feel like it could've been better on its own and then the book would've been sooo much shorter. The last 100 pages saved this from being 3 stars.
Bawling my eyes out. Incredible book but I never want to read it again. 4.5/5 rounded up.
Wow what a book. It was incredibly well written and captivating and I've never read anything like it. I had a hard time really WANTING to read it, especially for the first third of the book. However, the ending was perfect.
Wow. This was not an easy read by any means but one I'll remember probably forever. Incredible storytelling by an incredible woman.
Probably closer to 2.5/5. This was pretty boring and I'm just trying to finish the series
Better than the last novella but I just don't really see the purpose of this in terms of furthering the story and at this point I'm just trying to finish the series
Rounding up to a 4. The male man character gave me the ick but a fast and easy read despite the traumatic themes.
