Um okay I LOVED this!! I was giggling for almost the entirety of the book. I do think the beginning was a tiny bit slow and confusing to keep track of the characters but once I was 15% of the way I couldn't stop reading.
Thank you NetGalley for the arc!!!
Took me a while to get into, felt like a very basic storyline tbh but I enjoyed it enough to attempt to continue through the series.
A generous 4 star but I did overall enjoy this book - it took about 40% of the way in but then I couldn't put it down. Needed a better ending though
Close but not quite 4 stars. Would have been an immensely better book if 1) there were way less characters and 2) it was about 50-100 pages shorter. There was just so much extra detail & character building that I don't feel like was necessary or made an impact on the story itself
Had a love hate relationship with the characters but overall loved the book. It read like a memoir which I liked.
Overall enjoyed but something about the logistics of this I didn't like. And it was almost too easy of a road for the love interests.
Okay I am SHOOK.. I thought I knew exactly what was happening until like 85% of the way in. I do wish it had been slightly easier to connect but then again I'm impressed I was so off. 3.5/5.
Okay 4.5 - the miscommunication started to drive me nuts and sorry but the main character becoming best friends with the ex didn't sit right. Other than that I LOVED this book and resonated with the male main character which I did not think would happen but that made me appreciate it much more.
Also it could've ended after the first conflict resolution I don't think it needed to keep going.
Honestly a pretty boring thriller, doesn't really pick up until you're halfway through the book. I thought the main character was highly unlikable. The twist was impressive and not at all what I expected but there was also no way to have guessed it which is likely what made most of the book boring
Is this a life changing memoir? No. Is it extremely enjoyable and nostalgic - yes. If you're an HP lover I 10/10 recommend (the audiobook preferably)
4.5/5 - absolutely no notes on the first half of the book. Incredible pacing and storytelling. Then it dragged on and off for a little bit and then ended just a TAD too early!!!! I'm sad it's over
Updated to say the audiobook was incredible - especially to have it read in a true southern accent
Tough as an audiobook, this took me forever to finish but the last 25% of the book was so good
I just feel like the tragedy didn't need to happen, but it was well written regardless
Okay FINE I loved it
50% of the way in I still didn't really get what I was reading but why was it so freaking wholesome
Can't believe this is free to read on KU. So cute and easy to read. The last couple chapters were weird but that's okay
