I've loved James P. Hogan's books since I first read The Genesis Machine. This book felt a bit preachy to me, but I still found the story to move along well. Not my favorite of his books by any means, but I'm glad I read it. I found the element of electrically propelled spacecraft an interesting one to think about.
Gave up halfway through
Cliché flat characters I didn't care about. Racist/sexist stuff throughout. Cops interrogating someone who rushes the cop & “accidentally” hits the cop's fist with his balls. Please.
Disappointing. Made it through but no desire to read any more of series. Oh well - on to other authors.
