I've just finished this book and I loved it! It really felt like I've spent the day with the Spring siblings togather in real life, or like a Christmas movie on a New Year day, it really felt like it and I'm utterly happy for this! 5/5✨️
The atmosphere is cosy, it's an easy and interesting read.

Стиль написання чудовий, читається легко. Атмосфера дуже затишна, не дивлячись на те, що йдеться про вбивство. Загалом дуже затишна книга, як і має бути. Агата Крісті дуже вправна письменниця.
Finished this one on March 30 as well and loved! This is a very good gothic novel. I really loved the story, the writing style, characters were all well written. I didn't like Rebecca though, because personalities like her disgust me. But everything else was great and reading it was quite cosy and pleasant!
While was an unsettling read because of a couple of violent scenes, it was also an intriguing read because of all the mysteries and puzzles our characters have to face, but it was also a cosy read - it was so comforting to go back to this world and these characters every time I opened the book. It feels like I started this book just yesterday, although it's been almost a month. Captivating plot, great atmosphere and intrigue, well-written characters. I got everything I could expect from this book. It was interesting, intriguing and captivating. There is a lot of action going on, there is some drama between the main characters. At one point I was super worried about the dog. It was really good and I can't wait to get to the next book in the series because I'm super intrigued what's gonna happen next and what SJM has in store!

Таке відчуття, ніби я тільки вчора почала читати цю книгу, хоча насправді минув уже майже місяць. Стиль написання в С. Маас такий же прекрасний як і переклад Дарини Березіної, я отримала величезне задоволення! Захоплюючий сюжет, чудова атмосфера та інтрига, дуже добре прописані персонажі. Я отримала все, що могла очікувати від цієї книги. Це було цікаво, інтригуючи та захоплюючи. Відбувається багато екшину, а також деяка драма між головними героями. В один момент я навіть дуже переживала за Блискавку. Мені дуже сподобалося та я не можу дочекатись, коли доберусь до наступної частини (чи то в оригіналі, чи то в перекладі), адже мені дуже цікаво та я заінтригована, що ж буде далі та що підготувала Маас.
The writing style is amazing and quite immersive, Richard does a great job with it. The characters are lovely. The story, the atmosphere - all very cosy. By this point I am convinced that Joice is a heart of the series. I listened to the book in audio narrated by Lesley Manville and I absolutely loved it, she did an amazing job! Totally recommend :)
At first I didn't expect anything much from the book but it turned out a very cosying and easy and fun read, just what I needed at that moment. I had a fun time reading it. The writing, the characters, the atmosphere - all were done really well. I'm still thinking about this book from time to time, although I read it a couple of months ago.
It was a nice read overall.
We see our main character, Clara, as she's trying to come to terms with her magic, trying to love it and learning to control it. The storyline was a bit hectic, though, because things were happening throughout the year, like summer, autumn, winter, spring, summer, autumn. As for me, there wasn't enough magic description and the way it works.
Nonetheless, I had a good time reading this story.

Since I'm in a reading slump, I wanted something quick, fast paced, page turning, to keep me at the edge of my seat and the book did the job. The second half of the book I swallowed just in two days. I quite liked the dynamic between Mara and Neil.
The writing style, the intrigue, the characters, the atmosphere - all this Alice did amazingly good, as they always do. I wanted to be friends with all the characters (except Carol, she's awful).
Besides the plot, the logic in this book felt different compared to the previous books in the series. I still enjoyed it a lot. The writing, the characters and the atmosphere - all done masterfully good. It's been a great pleasure reading this series so far. I hope the next books are even better. It's been a cosy series for me so far.

I really really loved it! I really enjoyed reading it! I really liked the story, the world, the magic, and also characters were great, I mean protagonists, because antagonists were awful af! I especially liked the trio Meira, Theron and Mather ♡ The writing was great as well.
The book can totaly be as a stand-alone. I give it 4,5/5 ★ because of some violent details, that I hate observing in general. Nevertheless, this book is going to be in my top favourites! ♡♡♡
