ARC READ:
I love a childhood friends to lovers story! Liam and Emma's friendship was very sweet. The language of the main characters seemed a little forced and formal for early 20's characters sometimes, which felt distracting, but their relationship felt genuine. Emma's ex storyline felt predictable and I forgot he existed outside of his character being mentioned directly. I loved Liam's backstory and seeing what he overcame in their time apart.
⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 - a good debut for this author. I will definitely be reading book 2!
Wow, I did not expect this to be so heart wrenching. I didn't read the first books in the series yet, so I don't think I started the book disliking Blair as much as I was supposed to. She brought me to tears multiple times. Check trigger warnings before reading.
Twisty Thriller!
Thank you to the author for providing me this audiobook! This was so creepy in a great way! And so many twists and turns that I didn't see coming. Three stars only comes from the fact that I realized about 9 chapters in that the group of friends were still in HS, not college, and the FMC is still underage when she meets the mid-20s MMC who falls for her. She turns 18 eventually, but I got the ick and couldn't get past it. If Lennox and her friends were aged like four years, it would have been an easy four stars for me. I was really impressed by the smooth storytelling and very few errors for a self-published book! Well done! Will definitely check out more from this author in the future.
This book gutted me. It was powerful and terrifying and I absolutely could not put it down. I don't think I'll stop thinking about it for a very long time. That being said, I am an avid re-reader, but I don't think I can ever read it again - Addie's suffering and PTSD took so much out of me.
I can't remember the last time I cried real tears during book. I read the whole thing in one day. If you need a good emotional outlet, this is for you.
Trigger warning: cancer
Huge thank you to @avonbooks @harpervoyagerus @netgalley and @amyjamesbooks for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for my honest review.
A Wordle romance for this Wordle lover ... SOLD.
Emily is struggling to find her dream life, but she's pretty sure it starts with her “dream job” - if she can figure out what that is. She rents a cute house in a small town and takes a temporary job. She's going to work on paying off her student loans, continue her Wordle streak, and definitely not pay any attention to her handsome, grumpy co-worker. ;)
I can't believe this is a debut, it was so good! Grumpy/sunshine. The small-town romance. The found family. The slow burn. The side characters were fantastic. This was so much more than a romance, I loved seeing Emily build a life she loved. I had a great time. :)

I ADORED this book. The chemistry between Deacon and LaRynn was so good. And Deacon was SO dreamy. The flashbacks to their fling at 18, the forced proximity, the bickering and banter. I had so much fun. Love love love this!
