There's a whole entire half of this book where I didn't care even a little bit about what was happening. Also: is SJM doing a bit with the characters' ages? Because all of these characters are written like they're 20 years older than the text states they're supposed to be - through this entire series, it's insane.
Y'all keep telling me this series gets better y'all better be telling the truth I s2g.
I spent way too much time reading this book and stressing out over the well-being of mammoths.
This book made me have a lot of FEELINGS.
Those feelings are composed mostly of tears.
I HATE the accidental pregnancy trope, but i would also die for Winnie Baker so it evened out.
A really great story, but the pacing left something to be desired. The climax starts about 200 pages out from the end and just... keeps going for 200 pages. And then there is a coup that lasts 3 paragraphs. IDK I still really enjoyed it, though.
