Thought a bit boring growing up, but good tale to it. Nostalgic reading it with the Bird bros.
Now we're cooking with fire. Got in Enable many moons ago and it got me into Tintin. First appearance of Haddock, legend.
Thought I'd like it a bit more than I did. The art style was cool but just didn't grab me in the way that other graphic novels did.
A LOT going on in this one but a nice story and good plot overall.
Aisling is finally catching up with my age.
Took me a bit to get into it but loved it then. Great story, wonderfully told. Interesting and unpredictable. I thought it read like a screenplay at times and sure enough there's a movie in the works, should be class.
Read this during the 2024 season. I thought it was a good read and liked the running stuff in particular, but felt the message was a bit scattered throughout. I read this after the magnificent Open so maybe I'm unfairly comparing the two. If a snooker or Ronnie fan you'll enjoy it.
