lauren roberts has single-handedly become one of my favorite authors via this series. not only does the dialogue portray the yearning and unintended devotion of the characters to each other, but her writing in general is so beautiful. the ending has left me in shambles and i am anxiously awaiting her next masterpiece

- xaden is hot
- the ending.........
- when is the next book coming out?

to say this was a roller coaster of emotions would be an understatement.

i'm terrified for our society if we think this is a good book.

i just love small town romances. the found family makes my heart melt

this book put my brain in a mental fog that makes me question life itself. i loved it.

jacks is just a poor, misunderstood baby. i was giggling and kicking my feet this whole book. then the end came along and fucked everything up

(reread 2024): not quite as unbelievable as I remembered but still good!

SO GOOD! i'm extremely frustrated that I have to wait a year before the last book comes out.

definitely better than the first book! hopefully the series keeps improving as it goes on

a bit disappointed but apparently this is the worst book in the series so we'll see
