Loved this. A very brave and revealing book. We all need to talk about mental health more and men need to talk to other men about this stuff. Only then can we ever hope to get anywhere

a great insight into the mind of one of the UK's great comedians - and to the inner workings of the comedy industry itself. A must read for anyone interested in comedy and, more generally, the creative process.

Smart and funny

Really enjoyed this graphic novel about a French cartoon animators time spent working in North Korea. Beautifully simple and surprisingly revealing.

A really great guide to what happen in the financial crash and what it means for us all. Both Funny and scary ...and sobering

Surprisingly enjoyable small book by De Botton who was writer in residence at Heathrow Terminal 5. An easy, thought-provoking and nicely packaged book.

Loved this. Claire is a great writer and so much of this resonated with me.

This is a great book for those looking to start a business but think that somehow it may be in conflict with their general values. You don't have to be a tory to be a business person but you do need to understand business and you can be a good capitalist - and still stay loyal to your principles! Having run businesses big and small, I can't recommend this book enough. There are enough big ideas to inspire and as many practical ideas to get your through the highs and lows of pursuing your dream.

One of the most beautiful poetic books I've ever read. Even if I only understood about 5% of it.
