An Expandable Original Story. Stands out of the rest in its Genre. Definite recommend for Fans of the Maze Runner, and Giver Series
“Everyone must leave something behind... Something your hand touched some way so your soul has somewhere to go... It doesn't matter what you do... So long as you change something from the way it was before you touched it into something that's like you after you take your hands away.”
I really like these lines from the book. They explain something every single one of us have heard of. Our legacy. It's not the details; it's the change we bring about in the world that keeps our soul alive.
A book, the collection of its authors life, and his many pieces of thoughts, wisdom, and knowledge is the biggest catalyst for change that we can leave behind. It's what makes books important, so they need to be protected and cherished.
Fahrenheit 451 also teaches an important lesson about how ignorance left unchecked can lead to the soils of knowledge being poisoned. Ultimately, change may no longer he possible. And that's a life we should strive not to bring about.
It's a wonderful and philosophical read that I truly think everyone should read, alongside 1984.
Another great book by A. G. Riddle. I've read all his books and this one doesn't disappoint. Wonderfully written story with the right pacing and amount of suspense. Would recommend to any fan of Sci-fi.
Epic read, it raises some of the questions we never put any thought into. Such as: does being born on Planet Earth make it our property. If there were other inhabitants, would they also have claim over Earth and the like. A great pick for fans of A. G. Riddle.
It wasn't a bad book. But not great either. However, as the last book of this series it did exceptionally well. The betrayals and the love felt heartfelt. And the characters seemed unlikely alive. The only problem was that the drive behind the characters wasn't convincing enough.
It's definitely a recommended read. The entire series is great, and something every fiction and young adult fiction fan must read.
The entire book was around one idea. That would have been okay, a lot of self improvement books tend to be like this.
However, this book didn't elaborate on they idea well. It was just a surface level regurgitation of the first page over and over again.
