Deeply funny and heartbreaking. It's like the bat symbol for chronically lonely people. 10/10
I rarely dump a book before I've finished, but this is just really, really bad. The themes are pretty creepy and the love story grosses me out. It honestly reads like a bad fanfiction. Big yikes.
Finally getting around to this one...made me actually laugh out loud at some points. Good, fun, light read.
I saw the trailers for the movie, and decided I needed to read the book. I was pleasantly surprised. the writing is actually beautiful, with excellent use of imagery and a dry sense of humor. I thought this was going to be a really stupid book, but I was way wrong. I didn't like the ending as much as I liked the beginning, but overall it was a great read.
I really liked this book, and the Mutt/Alexis parallel was definitely not lost on me. A quick comfort read with some
Maybe it's because I listened to the audiobook (which is incredible) but I LOVED this book. The gender politics, the social structures, the absolute rage I felt at and on behalf of the characters? This was an experience and I devoured it.
What an absolutely insane ride
This got me out of a reading slump! Not my usual genre, but you should read it if you want something spooky!
Incredible. Rather dense, I thought, because of the depth and breadth of characters, but fascinating and whimsical. I loved it.
One of the most beautiful, sad, heartbreaking books I've ever read. This is the kind of book that stays with you for days after you finish it. The excitement of first love paired with the harsh uncertainty of life is captured so eloquently on these pages. I found myself both laughing and crying aloud while reading. Never have I sobbed so much when reading a book.
Bridgerton Brain has me devouring Regency romance. I loved this one, and it was much spicier than I anticipated!
This is the most inventive, unique, utterly spellbinding book I've read in years. It seems like a typical closed door murder mystery, but there are so many different elements that make up this stunning novel.
My first five star read in a long, long time. I felt tangled in this book, like I was part of the forest.
Perhaps I'm too blinded by tears to see the flaws, but know that this is a good book. A very good, sad, lovely, joyful book.
Oh my God.
Oh my GOD.
OH MY GOD.

I CAN'T DEAL WITH THIS
Apologies to my husband for weeping audibly for a prolonged period of time after reading this. I am dead inside.
