That ending...WHYYYYYYYY?! still not completely sure Noah's dead, though...though it'd be kind of...weird and strangely good if he did end up being alive. It would just be...unrealistic...I guess you could say. But it'd be a nice thing to happen...though it'd be...what was it called? Predictable. THAT'S THE WORD
Wasn't much of a mystery. The aunt was way too suspicious and nice in the beginning. I also found it weird how Nikki ran and left Michael to hold off Dax, but the second time he told her to run to save herself, she thought to herself that she wouldn't leave him to save herself.
so shallow...
pretty disappointed...
and wasn't it kinda obvious who she would end up with?
o wells.
this ending...YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
i really like how isis thinks about others' suffering and misery while she's sad and crying, which makes her stop. she's strong, hilarious as hell, and pretty darn awesome, as she repeatedly, and rightly so, says over and over again throughout the book
then wat was the point of including Laina in all this? maybe she'll appear later with some higher power status, getting in the way of Sora and Inc. It's amazing after being so suspicious of everyone the first time we met her how naive and open she had become with the Harpies.
4.5~ really don't like how the author keeps switching peoples' points of views, even though I know it's necessary. it's just my opinion that i am much more interested where the main characters are
first, i wanna thank the author for giving me this book to ease my boredom in exchange for me possibly spreading the word about it if i liked it
and since i liked it, here's my slang-filled, unprofessional, review filled with my true opinions
this book was pretty darn awesome
never was i bored with the book, even tho the crew had to go through so many cons to get their money together to get back piper's sister
i'll be pretty darn sad if there's no second book. i need moreeeeeeee
Maybe I'm just dull, but how does the title relate to the content of the book?
Also, wasn't it a little obvious who wanted Rose kidnapped? It couldn't have been this one guy, and it was too unlikely for it to be this guy, so that leaves it to this guy, right?
This book was pretty good. I finished it in less than a day! That's how good it was. The plot twist at the end also surprised me.
Eh there were some parts of this book that kind of threw me.
One of the main things was when everything had basically gone to hell, Gideon had been kicked out from the team, and all that jazz. During that brief intermission, Trinity and Malachi had a sexcapade. And there was a lot. So I guess I was just ticked off that while Gideon was suffering alone (highly probable), Trinity and Malachi were off having fun together.
And then let's not forget that period before all that delightful hiatus from reality. Things between Trinity and Malachi were...not going smoothly, to say the least. A lot of hateful things were said, everyone was in a bad mood, and the situation was becoming more and more daunting. For some reason, this pissed me off. Maybe it was because everything had been going so well between Malachi and Trinity on their dates and all, then all of a sudden everything was wrecked. But that happens in every romance book out there, so I don't know why this particular one ticked me off. Maybe it's because I was lead to believe things would be fairly light, and that obviously didn't last.
And then...that ending. I was sincerely hoping it wasn't going to be another Divergent/Allegient ending. Literally, that scene where Trinity runs to her parents when she died...and Tris had run to her mother when she died...seriously? That. Would've. Been. Annoying.
Now...for that next book...I haven't seen that summary yet but I'm guessing it's between Nicci and Gemariah? GIVE ME. I WANT. I hope it will be filled with wit and hilarity. .-.
OH that reminds me. Why? Why did Nicci have to get sick Ms. Daniels, hm? I seriously thought she was becoming sick because she was turning corrupt due to a demon. Hopefully, I will be wrong. But still...what was that point? What is your plan/plot twist here? =.= I'm on to you...
What...WHAT?! That ENDING! What happened?! What in the world?! You can't just leave it like that! -sputters- But...that...this...what...?! Why? Why would you do this to me, to us, Carina Adams? My heart might've just broke for that someone in the last chapter. WHYYYYYYYYY?!!!!
On the other hand, it was obvious something bad was going to happen to force Neil and Lia, or whatever names you want to call them, apart. I was dreading this big fallout. It was obvious it was going to be UGLY with a capital...everything. But Adams weaved the story in a way that made the hurt...not hurt so much. She made it so one could keep going to the very end, even with that ginormous hurdle coming.
I also see that this book is part of a series, so that “epilogue” was a nice cliff-hanger, I suppose, to encourage/force/compel readers to get the next darn book.
All in all, not a bad book, I guess.
