Started very strong but devolved into a lot of boring scenes. It rounded off nicely but would've been better being reduced into a short novella.
maybe it does end up being genius but i was forcing myself to stick to it to get it, and honestly if i have to force myself to stick to it to get something then maybe it's just not for me
The length of this series seems so unnecessary. We don't need fantasies to be 7 part, 600+ page series. So much has not happened at 54% of the way through, like could we get to it 😠I like the characters, so maybe I'll pick it up again one day but this book ended the series for me. So so long and for what.
The first chapter was probably the best of the book. If only the interlude in the current time setting was the main focus of the plot :(
