By far my favourite cook book I own. I always find something delicious to try and at a variety of effort levels.
I have mixed feelings about this one. I found the honesty, introspection and growth spoken about refreshing and revealing. But it can't be helped that Smith's outbreak at the Oscar's this year tars this image. How honest was it really? What growth has been shown? Maybe that's unfair, but it was in the back of my mind whilst reading.
Having said that, I enjoyed this book. Well written with wit and insight, although not humility. Or maybe it was trying to be humble, but fell short.
I'd recommend to anyone interested in Smith, memoirs, or Hollywood.
I would have loved more. Some of the references and jokes in this were absolute gold. Literally in tears.
One of my all-time favourite cookbooks. Not only are the meals delicious and pictures hilarious, but there are many other tips and tricks contained within.
I'd highly recommend people of all cooking abilities give this one a go.
Stanley Tucci has such a wonderful way with words and tells of his life through food with wit, charm and pace.
A truly laugh out loud memoir filled with stories I truly wonder if the people in them are aware they've been written.

A truly appreciated the stories, feelings, thoughts and life that JVN shared in this book. I felt joyous and upset at different times, and thank them for having the courage to share.
I listened to the audio book, which I think let it shine more being told in the original voice, as intended.
I enjoyed some of the stories, learnings and views that Tan presented. Unfortunately, much of the book was all over the place and hard to follow.
It wanted to be both a style guide and memoir, but failed to live up to either in great regard.
