See allI adore second chance romance stories, and I loved how until the very end it was entirely unclear if Anne would actually have a second chance with her first true love again or not. It was a roller coaster of emotions and I enjoyed it immensely.
This book forced me, in a good way, to reflect on so many aspects of my life. I always recommend it to others, and reread it when I can.
This book changed my perspective on art and the creative process. I will need to reread it, and probably often.
The way Lovelace discusses trauma, grief, death, and moving on from it all is beautiful, and it helped me see my own growth in a new light.
The depth of this book is intense and deep, especially as a second book. I adored it, but it was so long I had to take breaks before continuing to make sure how dark parts were didn't affect me too much. I'm excited for book 3, but will probably give myself a break before diving into it.
