just a cute and sexy sports romance, What more could you want.
Authough I wouldn't say this is enemys to lovers it is more kinda dislike to lovers. but still hot
I don't really know what to say about this book. It wasn't bad but it wasn't the best thing ever. Just a mediocre hockey romance. But honestly for what it is it is good
I loved fourth wing, i don't think i realised how much I loved it until i read another book after and all i could think about was reading this book.I didn't think it could get better than Fourth wing but it did and I am sure i will love the third book when that comes out! From the very first page, the writing draws you in and refuses to let go. The world-building in the first book is expanded on more including how magic works, especially with XadenThe character development in this book is outstanding. Violet's unwavering determination, Xaden's internal struggles, I am in love with their relationship and the friendships throught this book. even tho it is definitely not primarily a romance the romance is incredible “I'm in love with you. I have been since the night the snow fell in your hair and you kissed me for the first time.”The plot is a lot faster than book 1 in my opinion, but that may just be because i read this quicker than book 1.Rebecca Yarros has created a world that is so vivid and immersive, I felt like I was right there alongside the characters, experiencing everything they were. If you're a fan of epic fantasy with a healthy dose of romance and adventure, do yourself a favor and pick up this book – you won't be disappointed![bc:Fourth Wing 61431922 Fourth Wing (The Empyrean, #1) Rebecca Yarros https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1701980900l/61431922.SY75.jpg 96945623][bc:Iron Flame 90202302 Iron Flame (The Empyrean, #2) Rebecca Yarros https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1706724269l/90202302.SY75.jpg 114498467][a:Rebecca Yarros 7539785 Rebecca Yarros https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1689003619p2/7539785.jpg]
I don't know how to feel about this book, I loved the characters and plot but the backstories were not well done,
Although Hannah was a well-written character in the present day her back story was very brief and she felt like the only thing she had been through in her life was her rape while Garret's only personality was the fact his father was abusive.
But again I enjoyed the plot and the spicy scenes were well written and not to much

Shane is hands down the best book boyfriend, How does this man know what to do in every situation,
Anyways, hands down the best Elle Kennedy book I have read. i am still obsessed with this series being second gen, the appearances/cameos of the off-campus characters make this series so fun and more enjoyable.
Dianna is such an incredible character, she has her reasons to hate Shane at the beginning but is reasonable. and Shane always lets Diana talk and hears her out, Name anything better than that.
This is definitely the spiciest and kinkiest book by Elle Kennedy so if that isn't your thing maybe skip this one.
Trigger warnings,
Cancer
Verbal and Physical Assault
Death Of A Parent
Stalking
This book also means i have reached my 50-book goal this year, Last year i read 32 books in a year we are not even half way and I have reached 50!

Not a fan of the suprise pregnancy troup and as much as I love tucker and Sabrina. the first part of this book was amazing as soon as the pregnancy was introduced the book became a drag,
I only really read it because i am reading the series but if it wernt for that I definatly wouldn't have picked up this book.
Overall rating 4.5 stars
Never thought i could like Warner at all but I like him a bit more now,
this book somehow made one of the best villains ever written semi likeable and explained a lot of his actions within the first book

This book got me out of my reading slump. a short sports romance is everything I ever needed so much so I need it to be longer.
Bex is genuanly the best FMC I have ever read and James is a perfect Boyfriend.
There are 2 reasons this isn't 5 stars.
1 - I can't stand Bex's Mom and Ex. I know that is the point but it wasn't written as well as it could have been done and I feel like both those charecters are brushed over
2 - They never offically switiched to real dating and for 3-5 chapeters I was genuanly confused before I figured it out
Anyways well written book with a well written Love interest and FMC. what not to love. Might I add it is also an american football romance

Tried to read this book about a year ago and only got about 20% in, that is because the first 30% of this book is super quick there is not much world building in the first half, I think this is because this is a part of a series so this whole book is anout world building but after 30% this became one of the best books I have read in months,
ALSO THE ENDING WTF I NEED TO ORDER THE SECOND BOOK RN
4 stars because I will always need more of this series, after over a year since reading i still think about lara jean and Peter constantly
I feel the best way to describe this book is to use a Taylor Swift quote
“I and I can feel it lost in the memories august slipped away like a bottle of wine because you were never mine” Dr Taylor Allison Swift.
We find so much about wanner and juliett's past that I can forgive him for the first book. I never thought i would be 100% on bord with him being the main love interest but considering everything we find out in this book, I love him.

“
best book in this series so far by a lot,
Even tho it took me over a week to read that was because I was strugling to read more than 20 pages a day.
Summer was already one of the best charecters and this book made me love her even more, I think the friendship between summer and Allie is the best friendships in a book I have read before.
And Dean and Allie have easily become my favourite book couple. the way he is so pretective of her without being overbaring was so sweet and made me fall in love with this book

Elle Kennedy does it again.
Before reading this book I 100% recomend looking up the trigger warnings as this book does have a bit of triggering content.
The deal is one of my all time faves and I picked this book up not knowing this was a second gen book that follows hannah and Garrett's daughter.
Also the female sports representation is incredible and needed, I have never read a book where the FMC is the hockey player, this book also covers how unfair womens hockey is multipul times and brings up an important conversation.
The only issue I have with this book is how quick the end was. The first half of the book dragged on but the last 100 pages felt rushed. especially the marriage plot
Hannah and Garret feel like grown up version of them selvs which is nice because in some second gen books the parents feel either 1 - as if they haven't aged and are still collage aged or 2 - like compleatly new charecters
The best example I can think of is that Garrent still calls hannah wellsy or how he is so protective over their kids.
I loved Adam in the first 2 books, but having a book/novella in his perspective has ruined him in my opinion.
The story had a lot of potential and maybe if there was an alternate version of book 2 (unravel me) In his perspective I would have enjoyed it more. but this felt super repetitive to the last part of unravel me and just made adam unlikable
This book had everything I needed in life,
Well done half miscommunication
both charecters being intertwined in each others lives
Nobody but you troup
Second chance
Everything in this book was perfect,
Also My fave Tangerine makes an aperance what is not to love!!!
Never read a book with a toddler that actually had a personality until today, anyways read this in 4 hours while I was meant to be studying, I am sure the Starbucks staff think I am insane.
I thought the first book in this series was perfection but nope this is perfection.
Tahereh Mafi managed to turn warnner into a solid love interest while also not neglecting Adam.
For the plot outside of the love triangel it was solid with good carecter depth in this book and expanding on charecters we arelready had like james and introducing Arron's mother, even tho she is not a large part of the book charecter wise she is a large part as to why warnner becomes likable and then one of the best charecters, as we find out the reason for his orignal obsession with juliett is because his mother suffers in the same way.
Considering this was orignally the last book in the series the ending is perfect and I cant wait to read the rest off the books to see how Tahereah Mafi expands on the world.
Overall 4.5 stars
I read Icebraker a few months ago and loved it, although I loved the first book in the series I loved this one more.
The forced proximity and miscommunication tropes are done well.
Miscommunication is not a trope I read very often but when I found out about this book I was instantly interested.
I was nervous because the tropes are not what I would normally read but this book was one of the few where miscommunication was done well

I am not someone who belives reading classics makes you any better than anyone else, But I do belive there is a clasic out there for everyone.
I have had this book on my TBR for so long and have been putting it off because it is a classic. But if I could give this book 6 stars I would.
I think reading this 70 years after it was originally published gives us a lot more insight into the time that ‘animal farm' was being written.
The continuos theme of things secretly changing, the main one being the 7 comanments going from things like - no animal may drink to no animal may drink in excess
‘No animal in England knows the meaning of happiness or leisure'
‘All the habits of Man are evil.'
‘THE SEVEN COMMANDMENTS 1. Whatever goes upon two legs is an enemy. 2. Whatever goes upon four legs, or has wings, is a friend. 3. No animal shall wear clothes. 4. No animal shall sleep in a bed. 5. No animal shall drink alcohol. 6. No animal shall kill any other animal. 7. All animals are equal.'
‘ALL ANIMALS ARE EQUAL BUT SOME ANIMALS ARE MORE EQUAL THAN OTHERS'
