3.5 ⭐️ This was a fun read! It gave off some serious HTGAWM or Scandal vibes.
I enjoyed the story overall but the last third of the book felt rushed, which made the ending somewhat underwhelming. 50 more pages and this could be 5 stars.
Rounding up to 5⭐️! I really enjoyed this book! The character building was so well done in this one, and the narration was perfectly done. I think my only change would be to have a little more time spent between Titus and the killer toward the end. Other than that, no complains from me!
Loreth Anne White is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors! Her ability to tell a story through multiple narrators while calling back even the smallest of details is super impressive!
I really enjoyed the story, but I suggest reading this one vs listening to the audiobook. While the voice actor is fantastic, there were a LOT of characters that acted as a narrator and things got a little too muddy for my ADHD brain lol
Overall, I give this book 4 stars! White continues to give modern-day Christie vibes, and I am here for it!
The shorter chapters and multiple POV's helped make this a pretty quick read. I felt the twists were a bit predictable but that didn't take away from my enjoying it overall.
4.25 stars overall!
If you love a whodunnit with time jumps and character building, PLEASE read this! I lowkey want to read it again already.
My only issue is the scene when Coop picked up Jess on the motorcycle. I couldn't have rolled my eyes any harder LOL but anyways, read the book
