it's all a complicated thing

See allit's not that this book is bad, there were just some quotes i don't want to see again. i do like how he became more vulnerable with her and how she was as well with him. it is a good pace, but i do think we should've cut the coworker out a long time ago because he was a major red flag.
the wlw experience of many, i felt like i should hand this book to my sister and she'd understand how toxic and manipulative relationships like this can be. this just reminds me that if your friends don't like your partner, THERE IS A PROBLEM. as well as if you constantly feel like you never know where you stand with them- there's a problem. never let anyone make you a back-up, you are a priority or nothing.
it was predictable but a fast read for sure- i just don't get how dads in books move on so quickly, and also does he ever shower like????
of course i'm a romance lover- and honestly the pacing seems a little quick but they knew each other before and were basically first loves- so i shall excuse it! this did get me back into reading since it was a fast read, all in one sitting type of book.
OKAYYYY so hannah grinds my gears- like girl how are you so UNAWARE?? like your sister has her own life because she wanted to grow despite, not stay in the same spot. her anxious attachment style feels very relatable, but at the end of the day that doesn't mean it is healthy and she needs therapy. it doesn't mean i hate this woman, it's just that she seems self-absorbed and i couldn't stand her half the time- like she only would say not the best things about priya AS IF PRIYA DIDN'T HAVE HER OWN PROBLEMS.
