Read “Story of  My Life” short story and LOVED it. Book adapted to movie: Arrival. 

Not hooked. 

Re-read to complete the trifecta after watching the new Netflix series and the movie (for the 100th time) and IT'S STILL JUST AS GOOD AS I REMEMBERED

Loved this book. The characters are so real and raw. Brit Bennett weaves tales through time and relationships like no other. 

Returned to the library before I could finish!
