A wonderful, page-turning thriller that gets right into the suspense and action. Couldn't put it down. Overall, a good time with many twists and heartfelt moments.
4.5/5. Ugh such a cute and satisfying read. I love anything that's reylo coded. Also, this book was more emotional than I anticipated and made me cry a few times. Loved it.

Throughly enjoyed this book!! Maybe my favorite read so far this year. I stayed up to finish reading this book, fighting sleep, which isn't something I do often. If you're looking for a thriller that's pretty character driven, this is the one. I saw some people say that there were too many characters, but I didn't think so. I never felt like it was hard to keep up with what was going on with each character and whose POV we were in.
All in all, 4 secluded cabins out of 5.

A fucking masterpiece. Better than 90% of published works I've read. I hate to think that I'll never read anything as well thought out, complex, emotional, and gut wrenching as this again.
DNF @ 50%. Just no. This one was not it. Didn't like the characters, felt like it wasn't really enemies to lovers. They just flirted with each other from the get go. Just not for me.
Devoured the first 300-ish pages, and then it all started to go downhill as I got bored. I didn't want to pick it back up. It was a struggle to finish the last 100 pages. This book didn't need to be so long, and it all felt very underwhelming.
James and Cordelia never appealed to me and I wish there was more Lucie. I loved Lucie and Jesse's relationship way more than the main.
All in all: first two books in the trilogy were better than this one in my opinion, and I was left wondering why this book was pushed back so many times just to be left with this?
3.8. Can't quite give it 4 stars, as it just didn't hit enough for me to give it 4, but I did round up for the star rating. Already enjoying ACOMAF much more!
