I enjoyed the portrayal of the relationship between Madeline, Audrey and Victor. I really liked how their sexual organs were not explicitly named, which re-affirms the idea that gender is not defined by this but it is discovered (as it should be). The writing and descriptions were excellent, but I felt like a little more background and of the characters and pacing could've helped this book a lot. Also, I would've liked a scene where all three of them were participating (just a personal pref.) Overall, this was a really good read!
This book made me feel so many emotions. I was furious at Caleb, sympathetic for Iris and I wish I had an August of my own. This is my first book from Kennedy Ryan so I didn't have any expectations, but consider my expectations raised very high. I will recommend this book to anyone who likes a heart wrenching story with the perfect balance of sweet and smut.
Vonvalt and his crew needs therapy after all this tbh....
This book was really weird in an enjoyable way and the action scenes were well written, and the final battle floored me tho because there was so much going on.
I need to read the next book immediately.....
I really enjoyed this romance! Aisha is smart and confident and knows what she wants and Kwame is caring, considerate and down bad for her!! This definitely is making want to pick up more of Allen's works.

This was really cute and I loved the vivid descriptions on how Cam and Kenya designed their projects. However, the romance aspect was not as strong as it should be and the sex scene was written poorly in my opinion. Despite this, the story was overall really heartwarming and a great example of a Black woman navigating and prevailing many different struggles in a predominantly white space, all with a great friend and lover by her side.

This was interesting. It was well written with an ok plot and thought provoking themes, but I can't help but wonder why we always romanticize the Second World War.
Talia does it again!!!
The writing was witty, funny and sharp (just how I like it), and I like the development between Celine and Brad's relationship. Definitely a great read for getting started with Talia's books
I read this one freaking day. This was so wholesome and cute. The best romance I've read in a hot minute!

I don't know what to say...
From “fleshly valuables” to saying “babe” on every page, the writing leaves much to be desired.
While the premise was interesting, the delivery was just not it and I will excuse Mariana because this was her debut novel. Thankfully her writing has improved because this book was a no for me.

This book was unique, disturbing, complex, atmospheric and one of the most entertaining books I read this year. Truly an unforgettable read!

This book really was so cute wholesome while diving into deep and nuanced topic in a authentic and non judgemental way. Also the representation in here slaps and everyone is queer (which is fantastic!!). Overall a really enjoyable read!
