Even having watched the Free Solo documentary many times I still learnt a lot about Alex in this book.
Written well enough to still make your palms sweaty as you imagine his climbing.
By far one of the best books I've ever read. I don't think I've ever got half way through a book within a week of reading it. It's amazing how insightful the book is considering it all happened hundreds of years ago.
The first half is brilliantly written and a great read. The second half is interesting but I wasn't as captivated as I was in the first.
This is by far the best book I have ever read. I got through the whole thing in record time and just couldn't put it down.
I will definitely be buying ‘The Art of Deception' to read next.
It was a little slow in the middle but once he started talking more about his own experiences I couldn't stop reading.
