Interesting read, even though this was written in early 90's (apart from the technology) it doesn't seem that dated.
Interesting book, pretty crazy what he got up to. Made guns and took them to school, developed weapons in prison that where used in ww2 etc
Fantastic read, It started off a little slow but got good.
I especially liked the conclusions and comparisons in the final chapter.
Wow this is a really inspiring book, it really puts your first world problems into perspective!
Very interesting. A shame his “world system” may have actually been impossible. Interesting takes on how to achieve world peace.
Wow, it is books like this that make your troubles seem insignificant. This is the story of an incredibly hard upbringing, and how despite that you can succeed in life.
Good post apocalyptic fiction!
A historian stuck in a foreign country, in a hotel. in the middle of nowhere when a global nuclear war begins.
I like how the wolf talked in this book “looksmelling” and “spinwagging”
Caspar liked how the wolf and raven became friends, and how the wolf was sometimes nice to other creatures and didn't eat them.
Interesting fact from the book:
the Sherpas had to sleep in the snow because there was not enough room in the tents!
Really interesting, best story was about a man whom drew a 3mile long painting of the Mississippi
Entertaining and interesting read, written in 2007 it seems like he totally saw the financial crisis coming. Lots of good points about inventions, iterative development and creating businesses.
I thought this book was pretty interesting, and it made me think a lot about thin and thick slicing.
this was quite different to the tv series. looking forward to reading the next won where I have no idea what is going to happen though.
I enjoyed the writing and the actual story of the Blind Assassin byt the rest was a little bit slow.
