This was my first Colleen Hoover book!! I wasn't sure it would live up to the hype but wowee wow it sure did. I loved it.
Every time I pick up a super popular book I think “there's no way this is as good as everyone says it is” and every time I'm WRONG
Look I know evelyn is kind of a bad person but I really related to a lot of parts of her character. Some of her lines actually left me stunned because they were things I had thought so many times about myself and have never heard anyone put into words. Thank you TJR, you a real one
This book seriously messed me up. When I thought I couldn't cry anymore, I read the authors note and full on sobbed. I've heard people say that this book and the writing is bad but they're straight up wrong. I was super hesitant to finally start reading it because it's SO popular and could be overhyped or just not for me. So, if you're like me and are debating reading a Colleen Hoover book, I highly recommend you give this one a go because it really is so good.
