This was a really great story with lots of laugh out loud moments. It was a little predictable but I didn't pick what Isaac was going to do. I thought the twin psychic thing was pretty cool. Glad it ended happily. Hopefully it won't be too long before her next book comes out!
I read this for a challenge I'm doing where I had to read a book in a day. Debbie Macomber's Christmas stories are always a quick read so it was a no brainer to pick one that I hadn't already read. I really enjoyed it and the FBI mix up was a real classic. Lots of laughs and of course they get together even before the end of the book!
To think there is an actual mailbox you can go to in North Carolina, America and read whatever is in there and maybe be inspired to write something to leave for others to read, it sounds awesome. I enjoyed the story and was glad that Hope and Tru found each other again in the end. Just a shame it took so many years.
I had never read it before so read it for a challenge I'm doing. Not sure I'll ever read it again.
It was a really good romantic comedy. It was a little predictable but really enjoy her books.
I wondered if the book was going to be like the movie ‘The Holiday' which I really like when I saw it was about a house/country swap. I really enjoyed reading how Stella met new people/friends and fell in love with the place. Her emails to and from her house swap guy were entertaining. I really would like a sequel so that we can learn what happened with Stella after she decided to stay in Italy.
I read the story by reading all about Posy in the early years and then went back and read about Posy as an adult. Not a fan of books jumping forward and back in time and I don't think it took anything away from the story. The characters were all really good and the story felt so real.
I enjoyed this even though it was a little predictable. I thought the idea was a real interesting one. I am going to read the next book to see what happens next.
This was a great story. It was great to see how Archer moved from ex-con to wanting to be a detective. I hope there are more books about Archer and that he does go down the detective route for work.
I thought it would be about Jo writing her second book but it wasn't. The fact that there were murders was a surprise for me, especially after the first book. I enjoyed the first book more but couldn't not read the second book to see what happens to the characters.
Another easy enjoyable read. I'm pleased that the relationship between Jess and her cousin was mended.
This is the first book of hers I've read and I thought it was fantastic! I could not stop reading it, I had to know what was going to happen next. The fact it has rescue dogs getting trained to be sniffer dogs or other working dogs in it only makes it better. I'm looking forward to reading the rest in the Ryder Creed series.
A year in Venice would be so nice! I liked the story but Kat did annoy me a little! I'm pleased that they worked things out in the end. Would have been nice for us to see Kat meet the family.
A few if the same characters as the first book which was great. It did have me wondering who Casanova was, I had a feeling it wasn't going to be the first guy they arrested. I did have a feeling it would be someone who had lots of inside info who would end up being Casanova.
I don't read a lot of non fiction books but always enjoy reading stories about animals. The things this guy taught his dog to do were amazing!
This is the second book in the series. I think the first book was better but I still really enjoyed it. It was great having a lot of characters from the first book turn up. Really enjoyed reading about the dogs and their work.
Another great story in the series. It was great to read about Scout getting his first search and rescue mission and doing a great job. Great to find out what happened to Brodie. Really looking forward to the next book in the series.
It's amazing how good scent detection dogs are! Working in tornado conditions this time - it seemed so real. Living in a country that doesn't really have tornados it was interesting to read about how people can survive through the toughest conditions. The relationship between Ryder and Maggie just gets better with each new book.
Wow! I had to keep reading to see what was going to happen. Looking forward to the next book as the ending left you wanting to know what happens next in the search for what happened to Mercy.
It was great to read about some of the characters from the first book while learning more about Jody. The festival didn't happen until the end and I did wonder if we were going to see how it went. It was predictable and Jody made me want to scream a few times, lol. I'm glad it had a happy ending!
I really enjoyed this story and Will Robie and his partner turning up was pretty cool. I haven't read any of the Will Robie series so am looking forward to reading those!
It took me a little while to get into this book, not sure why. I felt the characters really grew on me the more I read. I think it worked out for the best in the end with what happened with the house.
