A very fun and funny read that does an excellent job of handling discussion around inclusivity and creating inclusive spaces!
I love this series and loved this book! It was equal parts spicy and sweet (although maybe a little more spicy than anything else) Lola and Ben are both navigating tricky family situations and which adds depth and nuance this enemies-to-lovers story.
It was a lovely summer afternoon read, and now I'd like a cupcake and a new tattoo.
ARC Review:
I was super excited to get an advanced copy after reading The Ex Files and this follow up truly didn't disappoint.
Gabi is an amazing main character with dimension and complexity that is never too much. And Vic is a total dreamboat. He validates her feelings and helps her feel comfortable as she is, and isn't that just the dream?
It was great to see Cassie and Luke again and the rest of the supporting characters really rounded out the story. This was a lovely, fun, charming read that I highly recommend!
Wow wow wow, I think this is my favorite Morgan Elizabeth book to date.
I was lucky enough to receive and ARC for this book, and I devoured it in one sitting. We first met Shae last year in Seasons of Revenge and now we get to watch her and her little girls find the happy ending they deserve. This book was definitely heavier than most of Morgan Elizabeth's books, but was still able to harness the charm and warm feelings that we've all grown to love. The spice was spicy, the Christmas cheer was cheerful! All in all, this was a really fun and perfect holiday read!
