Great read. You get a real insight into the chaos and confusion of modern warfare. Read this before the movie came out, which is also highly recommended.

First great historical fiction book I ever read.

Great story. The relationship between the father and son is quite touching. Highly recommended, though might be a bit gory for some readers.
