This entire book reads like fanfiction, the story is one you've probably read a million times, and the writing is not particularly brilliant but it gets the job done. Do I love it? No. Do I hate it? Also no.
I will probably read the rest of the series, but I would not recommend you read this unless you just have nothing better to do with your time.
much better than the first book, tho it still does feel like ACOTAR deeply inspired the whole story and it does slightly read like fanfiction. The writing got better towards the end, enough to make me look forward to reading Covet
overall a decent book, but as someone who's familiar with the software and was part of the forum/is part of the Facebook and Discord groups, a lot of the information was already known to me, and it did not feel like the book provided me with any additional knowledge
The story took one turn after the other, I loved the format of the short letters back and forth, as well as the predictable unpredictability of the story. Brilliant writing on the part of the author, left me wanting more!
Absolutely loved this book, Maas made me hate Nesta and now she made me love her again. As per the rest of the series, each character and their stories are beautifully written and woven together, this was truly a pleasure to read.
