See allThis book was an insane roller coaster. Like... Wow.
Honestly though? I was right about a lot of it which is something I both love and hate. Since I was right, there wasn't a whole lot of plot twists for me? But it was a good book nonetheless and a very good thriller.
I'm keeping this short because I do not want to cry.
It's a must read. Heartbreaking but also so beautiful.
Read this if you like The Fault in Our Stars by John Green.
I'm sad it took me as long as it did to finally sit down and read this....
It was BEAUTIFUL. I absolutely loved this book. Honestly, I pictured young Elliot as a baby Spencer Reid and adult Elliot as Sam Winchester???? Please tell me if you did also!!!
This was a second chance romance, childhood friends to strangers to lovers and it was BEAUTIFULLY written.
I loved the back and forth between past and present to learn about how they met, how they grew and bonded together and how they re-bonded and became friends again.

Favorite word?
I liked this book, I wouldn't say I loved it because it didn't “wow” me. Nonetheless, it was still a good read and I enjoyed it. I liked learning more of Jack's condition and I love Libby's confidence throughout it all, she was so confident, it was beautiful. I disliked Jack at first but he slowly fixed what he did so I felt a bit better.
It's dual POV, you switch between Libby and Jack, which was nice to see into both their heads and what was going on during certain things.
Would I recommend? Yes, I would but before I do, it's YA, contemporary with romance. And definitely check any trigger warnings beforehand!
