Cynthia Yuan Cheng

My name is Cynthia (they/them), I'm a freelance illustrator and cartoonist living in central New Jersey. I love to tell stories that make your heart feel full, your eyes a bit watery, but most importantly make you laugh!

I grew up reading manga and playing American football, and graduated from MICA with a B.F.A. in Illustration and a concentration in Sequential Art. In my free time, you can find me indulging in my favorite hobbies: hanging out with my friends and hunting for the best desserts in town.

I am a New York Times and Publishers Weekly best-selling cartoonist. My clients include Scholastic, Google, Cartoon Network, Skybound Entertainment, Washington Post, BOOM! Studios, Power & Magic Press, POMEgranate Magazine, and more.
