Pamela Burford and her twin Patricia Ryan, were born on 9 August 1954 in Las Cruces, New Mexico, U.S.A. The Burfords are reputedly descendants of "Little John," the best friend of the legendary "Robin Hood." Pamela is married with Jeff Loeser, and they have two children.

Romance novelist, Pamela Burford is a two-time finalist for both Romance Writers of America's RITA Award and Romantic Times Reviewers' Choice Award.
