The Stagiaire ends without us knowing the details of the third and fourth site. Then the Fall Classic contestants get to have a “tea party” of sorts with the current Council of Ten Masters, getting Souma all fired up to challenge them. And so begins the next arc - the Moon Festival. Students and student bodies may elect to set up booths or restaurants to cater to visitors, much like a typical food festival, except participants get expelled if they couldn't turn a profit. Souma gets it into his head to challenge the current eighth seat, Terunori Kuga, due to what the latter had said during the “meet and greet” session with the Council earlier.
