A Hideous Convention

I received this book for an honest review... and I really enjoyed it, read it in one sitting.
It's a fast-paced, short crime investigation story. The characters are well developed, having in mind it's a short story, and it's written nice.
There are some expressions and behaviors that made me not fully engage, but it could be something cultural or even personal. It's worth reading, for sure.
Hope to read something else by the author soon.
