Reviews with the most likes.
Not the most compelling mystery of the series (it was kind of boring) but a satisfying end to the series showing the changes to Jamie and Charlotte over time. Like that it ended with Charlotte's full self-actualization vs how the first book started with her through Jamie's lens.
I'm still under the spell of this series, so it's hard to write a clear review. The best thing I can say right now is that, after two months of barely reading, I devoured this whole series in one weekend ¯_(ツ)_/¯
The final epilogue disappointed me a little but it was a mature, realistic ending to a story.

I loved this series, but this conclusion is a major letdown. The series was always Jamie's story and I liked that is mirrored the Sherlock Holmes books in that we saw the story through Watson's eyes rather than Holmes's eyes. Book 3 was a mix of Charlotte and Jamie and I enjoyed that, but this book was all Charlotte and I did not like not seeing Jamie's perspective of everything happening. I also found the mystery less exciting than in previous installments.
This series started off a little slow, but grew into something interesting. This book wasn't my favorite because it seemed short and the case was a little weak. Overall, this was a fun series to read.
