Grumpy sunshine, she is running from her abusive ex and winds up on his ranch. He doesn't want to like the “city girl” but she's tough and proves herself.
Light and fluffy but still spicy
God I love Cowboys even not-a-cowboy cowboys!! Austin is such a green flag!!! I also love a found family and especially if it's a group of men protecting the FMC as if she were their sister
I think it's great for a debut novel. The story was cute and the side characters are lovable. What I didn't like: Austin was a dick. I'm not sure if he was a dick because he was attracted to Cecily or if he was just a dick in general. I'm tired of dickish people. Also, there was a lot of comparing ex's to each other. I don't think either of them were ready for a heavy relationship.
