Not-So-Common Cents by Sarah Wassner Flynn

This is a review for a sample of the upcoming book by the same name. In the sample I learned about the US dollar bill and how it has the number 13 hidden throughout it to represent the original 13 colonies. It also discussed credit cards versus cash and debit. The sample talked about currencies from around the world. Finally it mentioned how to make a monthly budget. From the content of this sample, it would seem the book will cover a wide range of topics about money. I would say this is a great book for kids learning about spending and saving. The book sample was laid out well and had vibrant colors. I have read many other books by National Geographic Kids and this book meets their same high standards that are found in their other books.
