Harry Devlin remains infatuated with his wife, Liz, even though she left him. When Liz turns up at his flat, he is only too happy to offer shelter. But any hopes he has for reconciliation are dashed when she is found dead. Harry's search for the truth takes him into Liverpool's sinister underbelly.
