Sarah and James have been two against the world for a long time, but at this new farm past troubles seem to be catching up with them.


I'm trying to work on my one sentence reviews this year - I donno. Climate changed dystopia, runaway field hands, old dreams and traumas, betrayal from those closest - this story is very ‘ this happens, this happens, then this happens' and looking back on it it doesn't hang together too well. the ending made me grumpy
