Dean has faced problem after problem since arriving in Freewood, though the more recent crisis resolved in her favor. She has a pack of her own, finally taking her place as alpha, she is stronger than ever, and she has been reunited with her family. However, good fortune doesn't last long in the turbulent city.
There are too many dominants in Freewood and once more, someone seeks to take Freewood for themselves. Two alphas don't exist in the same territory. At least, not for long.
