Amsterdam

Uurgh. Dry, dull and dense (the 3 disaster D's). I absolutely loved Atonement- but all other McEwan books have fallen short - I think it's time I break up with him.

Fun, short, and well written.

I ploughed through it, in that way that is so easy to do with McEwan. It was easy and gripping, but goodness me did I feel let down by the ending. What a fizzling out.
