Despite the silliness of the entire MISUNDERSTANDING, I really enjoyed this novel. It's a fun romp, a silly comedy of errors and manners, and I didn't expect more of it beyond that. Sure, there's a bit of mystery thrown in - but the bad guy is so obvious, I'd be a moron not to realise who it was. Still, towards the end I was terribly exasperated by Meg, who needs a thorough rapping on the head for not being able to communicate like a normal human being.
