More fit for the tv screen for me. I didn't super enjoy the multiple POVs as it made it difficult to remember who people were or why I cared to be reading the chapter. I mostly liked the chapters told from Sophie's perspective and the husbands.

It was fine. It didn't do much for me but I can see why it would be turned into a Netflix show. I would still like to see the show.

A very well written courtroom drama centering on the lives of an MP accused of rape, his wife who has give everything up to support his career and the barrister prosecuting him. One of those books that makes you question attitudes to sex and consent. The characters are well drawn, particularly the barrister and the author avoids making the MP too much of a pantomime villain.

The book more likely a general fiction, not thriller, because almost everything opened on the middle of the book. I loved the premise, the execution is good, the plot is well written.
How I loved domestic drama, there's no such thing as a perfect marriage.
