“I mean, yes. You’ve ruined it, though. I had a whole… Dammit. Fine. Yes, I’ll marry you.” The most botched marriage proposal 💀. You'd think 20 years gave them time to get it right.
This book is amazing. It has so many different tropes, just not in the way you'd expect. Fated mates, second chances, AND an MC only a mother could love, that's how much of an ass Neil is.
I have no serious beliefs on reincarnation in either direction but I have serious belief in them and in their 'I’ll find you in any given lifetime' kind of love. Ugh. 🥰
Neil, that poor bastard. No way in hell can it be easy to be reborn as a baby but with all your memories of the love of your life-still alive, grieving you, then moving on with someone else WHILE you're too young to do anything about it. And would he believe you anyway?
And he never forgot the poor dog😫
“It’s not like we’d name her Magic.” Neil squeezed his hand and grinned. “We’d name her something totally different. Like Abracadabra.”
💀💀💀💀💀A deeply unserious man.
Joshua is simultaneously the luckiest and unluckiest MF that love has ever interacted with. May the gods never experiment with anyone like they did him. I'm surprised he had any capacity left for love by the time Neil came round again.
No, but seriously, I highly recommend this one. The upside is, it most probably won't be like any other book you've read before.
