Artemis and Other Spoken Word Poems

Slam poetry came to Kuwait through Ayana Ashanti, CEO of Taste of Jamaica. In October 2010, Ashanti organized the first national slam poetry competition in the country, and Nada won first place. Since then, Nada has been performing at competitions and showcases throughout the country. Artemis and other Spoken Word Poems includes ten of the most popular poems Nada performed, which gave her the nickname of "Kuwait's Finest Slam Poet." It also includes an interview with the author and a short play in verse.
